2.5 CEUs for New Mexico therapists, counselors, and social workers

Psychic abilities and intuition have been elevated in the New Age subculture as spiritual gifts and virtues. However, at times they unwittingly become defenses against unresolved relational trauma. When we develop our intuitive faculties as a compensatory adaptation to relational trauma, the resulting hyper-empathy can compromise us ethically and become a boundary and self-worth issue. Hyper-empathy (a.k.a. toxic empathy) can lead to relational chaos and even relational and spiritual harm.

These recorded teachings were presented by Luisa in a keynote address at the Southwestern College Healing and Transformation Conference in August 2023.

Luisa shares her Three-Energy Body Model of shamanic-psychotherapy and focuses on the energetics of internal (psychic-spiritual) boundary failure. She shares how to identify and heal psychic boundary rupture in ourselves as practitioners and with our clients.

About Luisa Elena Kolker MA LPCC

Luisa specializes in the intersection of mysticism, family systems psychology, energy psychology, and Jungian archetypal models in healing the subtle, trauma-bonding aspects of relational trauma.

She has devoted her life to learning and teaching others how to balance intuitive-mysticism with emotional maturity and spiritual integrity. She is especially interested in delineating between trauma generated, compensatory intuition and intentional, integrated subtle perception.

Luisa engaged in a five-year, traditional apprenticeship with visionary healer and artist Ioanna Salajan in Spain. She has been trained by Pia Mellody, author of Facing Codependence and Facing Love Addiction, in family-of origin emotional trauma resolution therapy.
